Abaolone shell | Also known as, mother of pearl. Abalone shells can be especially useful for handling and calming emotional situations and be very soothing to the emotions. Having it nearby when working through an emotional situation with someone is said to be beneficial and to promote cooperation. It can assist with the easy flow of feelings and sensitivities to others. It can bring harmony in relationships. Use the abalone shell as a bowl for smudge sessions. Be mindful and use caution when handling the shell because heat can transfer to the shell.

To cleanse your crystals: This should be done every couple of months to clear away any negative energies picked up in your gemstone. Take the sage and begin to burn it until a good strong smoke is coming from your sage. Hold the crystal in this smoke for at least one minute. This clears all negative energies that have become attached to this stone but does not energize the crystal. To re-energize the stone, place it in a window so it can be exposed to the rays of the sun and moon. It is best to re-energize your crystals on full moons.
